Chevron Australia has partnered with Perth Festival for 17 years to bring inspiring, thought-provoking and life-enhancing cultural experiences to the people of Perth.

In 2021, the festival theme is Bilya, a Noongar word meaning river, and the program brims with Western Australian works that celebrate our community.

Perth Festival Artistic Director Iain Grandage said the 2021 festival would focus on local brilliance that would thrill audiences anywhere in the world.

“Here in Perth, the blessing of living in such an isolated city has never been more palpable, nor more appreciated,” he said.

“Perth Festival, like Chevron, is deeply committed to this place. The 2021 Perth Festival is a love song to this place – to its people, its artists, its stories, its river."

“We are spending resources on artists to allow them to dream bigger than they ever have and we’re immensely grateful for Chevron’s investment in us on behalf of those artists.”

The Perth Cultural Centre will be the heart of the festival for 2021.

Widely recognised as the city’s premier cultural event, Perth Festival is the largest international arts festival in Australia and embodies the values at the heart of our business – people, partnership and performance.
