feature protecting our communities: 2022 city to surf cancellation

Chevron City to Surf Activ

While our communities continue to manage the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, Chevron Australia’s long-term partner Activ has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 Chevron City to Surf for Activ.

Activ chief executive officer Michael Heath said the health and safety of the community comes first when it comes to planning for this event.
“The decision to not hold the event again this year was very difficult, however, the health and safety of all Western Australians comes first so we believe this is the most responsible decision,” said Mr Heath.

The Chevron City to Surf for Activ is Activ’s largest annual fundraising event, with donations raised directed to supporting Western Australians with intellectual disability to achieve their independence goals.

“I would like to acknowledge the ongoing support and generosity of Chevron Australia, who has made this community event possible for many years, as well as help to raise important funds for Western Australians with intellectual disability.”
