Chevron Australia Production Technician Georgie Feakes has been selected as a finalist in the category of Outstanding Operator/Technician/Trade Woman in the 2021 Chamber of Minerals and Energy Women in Resources Awards (CME WIRA).

Georgie’s positive attitude and determination has seen her career go from strength to strength and positioned her as an important role model for women aspiring to work in natural gas operations. In addition to supporting the commissioning of both the Gorgon and Wheatstone natural gas facilities, Georgie has helped to make frontline operations work easier for new mothers through the creation of a breastfeeding room at site.
