Australia’s unique biodiversity is on show through the winners of the inaugural Chevron Nature in Focus Photography Competition.

Entries were received from across the nation, with photographs highlighting our nation's unique flora and fauna, as well as the importance of conservation.

This year’s competition was open to a range of ages and abilities across multiple categories, including oceans, wetlands and rivers; sustainability; and species and habitats.

The Chevron Nature in Focus Photography Competition is supported by Chevron Australia as part of Conservation Volunteers Australia’s Revive our Wetlands initiative.

Photographic entries from junior and senior school students, and amateur and professional adult photographers captured the spirit of conservation and sustainability. From native wildlife to traditional practices promoting sustainability, the entries reflect the importance of preserving our natural habitats and the biodiversity they support.
