celebrating 15 years of partnership with activ
Chevron Australia celebrated the launch of the 2025 Chevron City to Surf for Activ this week, joining event partners to highlight the power of community, diversity and inclusion.
Tuesday 1 April –Established in 1975, the Chevron City to Surf for Activ is Western Australia's most iconic community event and serves as Activ’s premier fundraising opportunity, with a purpose that extends far beyond a community fun run.
Funds raised from the event go directly to supporting the thousands of people living with disability in Western Australia.
Chevron has been proud to support Activ Foundation since 2010. As our most popular workforce event, Team Chevron extends beyond Perth and Karratha to our sites on Onslow and Barrow Island, with the virtual event giving everyone the chance to get involved.
Activ and genU CEO Clare Amies said the Chevron City to Surf for Activ is more than just a race – “it’s a movement”.
“It’s about people coming together to create a future full of opportunities for people living with a disability. This year our event theme - ‘we’re better together’ – aligns with both Chevron’s ongoing commitment, and that the more people who take part, the more impact we can collectively make on the lives of local West Australians with disability.”
“Chevron’s ongoing commitment to the event ensures we can continue to build a more inclusive WA and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support.”
